Joy News Sets Up Lawra SHS for Public Ridicule with “Mockery” NSMQ Arrival Picture

A facebook post by Multimedia’s Joy News channel showing the arrival of Lawra Senior High School’s participants for the National Science and Maths Quiz 2019 has generated an uproar on the social media platform.

Joy News, official television Broadcast house for the competition apparently only found it necessary to post a picture of the five boys of Lawra SHS taken during their arrival for the Quiz in Accra. The post which is captioned ” 2019 NSMQ: The Arrival of Lawra SHS” shows the boys carrying their luggage in their school-shorts, flip-flops ( Chalewote), and house vests, looking weary from a long bus journey from Lawra in the Upper West region.

Though, Joy News has not stated any other reasons for specific post about the Lawra boys, many Ghanaians have brought them under fire on Facebook saying it was an intentional post to ridicule and undermine boys to the public.

One Facebook user commented that “Good luck guys,Joy News decided to put this particular picture with an intention to make a mockery of you. I don’t know any of you but you are winners already. May God see you through “.

Another User says ” intelligence is not physically displayed, don’t make mockery of people’s condition”.

One popular and award winning radio figure in the Upper East region,has left his listeners and the general public in suspense after he somewhat declared his intention to contest the Nabdam Constituency Parliamentary seat.

In a Facebook post on Saturday, the 2014 Radio Personality of the year for the northern sector focused on the 2020 general election for his first ever attempt.

It is quite unclear the political party on whose ticket he will be contesting

But the possible permutations are that, he must beat Dr.Kurt Mark Nawaane who’s currently the incumbent MP if he’s running on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Where as, Erstwhile MP for the area Boniface Gambilla presents a challenge for the young journalist.

Also, Mr. Mike Zuri will also come into focus after some faceless constituents called on him to contest the next election.

So in all, if his post is something to go by, both the primaries and the general election would be trickier.

Although he mentioned 2032, my investigations showed he comes earlier than expected.

The Barkanbok3 frontliner is on a radio tour and made a stop at Yem radio a Bolgatanga based radio station , in the early hours of Wednesday morning and hosted by Apana Moses Coxson(DJ KI) on the morning drive show.

He made several revelation and interesting amongst those is the claim of being the King of Rap in the region when it comes to the use of the local language FraFra.

He went ahead to compare his throneship to that of Kuame Eugene the recently crowned King of Highlife by VGMA and Amakye Dede.

Responsible to a plea by a fan for his management to struck a deal that will see a collaboration between him and Kuame Eugene, the Sunsor crooner said it was something they will look into but was quick to add that he’s also King in the region.

“If Kuame Eugene is the King of Highlife then I’m also a King in “FRAPOP” he said.

BOLGATANAGA:3 Children die at a dam site,Assembly man blames the curiosity of the children for their own death.

Three Children have died yesterday 29th April,2019 at SOE a suburb in Bolgatanga.

They died while playing around the newly contrasted dam under the current government’s “one district one dam” project.

The Assembly member for the area Richard Abagna described the unfortunate incident as one which happened due to the curiosity of the children. According to him, the children had never seen a dam like that before and play in and around it every day.

“Yh as children you know its curiosity,they have never seen water lying like that so they went to swim” he said during an interview on Yem radio in Bolgatanga.

Meanwhile,one child survived as the other three perish at the dam’s premises.

Their bodies have since been deposited at the Bolgatanga regional hospital morgue.

The Bolgatanga based artist premiered his first ever music video on 20th April 2019 after realising the audio about aoth ago.

The song is doing quite well in the region and beyond due to its conscious nature.

In a related development, the musician opined that the video was shot for free by EyeSaw Production which he showed appreciation to.

He spoke on a “hot”Sunday Afternoon Reggae show “City Bus” hosted by DJ Ital on A1 radio in Bolgatanga.

A woman at Ogorme in Somanya has allegedly thrown her five year old baby in a well water .

Her actions according to reports was after the father of the baby who’s identity is currently unknown shuns his responsibilities.

According to her the father does not take care of the baby anymore leaving unbearable hardship on her.

Residents are shocked about the happening saying she went too far.

The mother has since been arrested.

PICTURES:Notorious Mobile Money Fraudster apprehended in Navrongo.

A young man was arrested late afternoon today in connection to series of Mobile Money fraud related offenses.

The young guy who’s name is currently not known is seen in a photo sitting between two security operatives after his arrest this afternoon.

Several indigenes of Navrongo and its surroundings according to reports have lamented about the fraud cases.

The resident will now have a sigh of relieve after he tormented the lives of numerous Mobile Money Customers.

He’s believed to have defrauded to the tune of 10,000 CEDI’s.

“Queen Peezy” cries,she cannot watch on as Pataapa “cheats” with his white girlfriend.

The earlier rumours and thereafter photoshoots of Pataapa and Queen peezy only casted out doubts over their relationship.

The two were happily together before Pataapa went overseas for his career tour.

Just days after his stay in Europe. Pataapa is seen in video kissing his white girlfriend.

This comes as a surprise because back home here in Ghana we all know he’s in a relationship with Queen peezy.
